Specific Gift Provision

"I give, bequeath, and devise (dolllar amount or specific asset) to the West Virginia Botanic Garden, Inc., a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Tax ID #55-0754775, and authorize my gift to be used for its general purposes."

 

Percentage Gift Provision

"I give, bequeath, and devise (all or X percent) to the West Virginia Botanic Garden, Inc., a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Tax ID #55-0754775, and authorize my gift to be used for its general purposes."

 

Residuary Gift Provision

"I give, bequeath, and devise (all or X percent of) the rest, residue, and remainder of my property, both real and personal, wherever situated, which I may own or be entitled to at my death, to the West Virginia Botanic Garden, Inc., a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Tax ID #55-0754775, and authorize my gift to be used for its general purposes."

 

Contingent Gift Provision

"I give, bequeath, and devise to (name of person) the greater of $ amount or X percent of the residue of my estate. Should (name of person) predecease me, I direct this sum or percentage to West Virginia Botanic Garden, Inc., a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Tax ID #55-0754775, and authorize my gift to be used for its general purposes."

                  The WVBG is free and open to the public daily

                   from dawn to dusk.

 

                  The lower parking lot and Welcome Center will be open 

                     on Friday afternoons from 1-4 p.m. and Saturdays and

                     Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The lower parking lot

                     will also be open for scheduled events.
